OFFICE OF ASSESSOR OF PROPERTY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Office of the Assessor of Property is a professional government office responsible for identifying, listing, appraising, and classifying all taxable residential, commercial, and personal property in Metropolitan Nashville & Davidson County.

We are committed to educating and training appraisers the proper skills to providing fair and equitable property valuation. Over the years, we have included in our critical responsibility exposing young people to our mission and work under the Assessor of Property intern program.  As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work in a general office setting, as well as assist appraisers in the field.

We are currently accepting applications to this program. More info is available here.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR BUSINESSES FILING THEIR SCHEDULE B

Please know there was an error in our new system which caused some values from the previous year not to be printed on the schedules.  To address this inconvenience, please email the Personal Property Division at personal.property@nashville.gov and we will be glad to send you a return email with a Schedule B that contains all 2023 values. You can also call 615-862-6073 for assistance. The easiest and most convenient way to file your Schedule B is through the Online Filing System (OFS) here. A pin #, exclusive to each account is included on the Schedule B, which will allow you to file online for that account.  All values are included on the Schedule B within the Online Filing System (OFS).
