Informal Review Open for the 2024 Assessment Year

Nashville, TN (December 1, 2023) – If you missed the opportunity during the 2023 assessment year to appeal your property value, the 2024 Informal Review opens December 1, 2023. In previous years, the request for an Informal Review opened immediately after the Office of the Trustee mailed tax bills in October.  However, this year, the appeal process for Davidson County property owners opens December 1, 2023, due to this year’s conversion of the Office of the Assessor of Property’s Computerized Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) system.  Also due to this year’s CAMA conversion, the Office of the Assessor of Property’s staff will take Informal Review requests by phone or by email.  This process for just this year is slightly different than in previous years where Informal Review requests were primarily entered on-line.
