The Tax Rates Are Now Updated!

The tax calculator showing your anticipated taxes for 2022 has been updated with the tax rates that become effective beginning fiscal year July 1, 2022. The new lower tax rates for both the Urban Services District (USD) and General Services District (GSD) were passed by the Mayor and the Metropolitan Council in conjunction with the fiscal year 2022-2023 budget. Deadline has passed for Schedule B Board Filing

The deadline to file a Schedule B for the Independent Metro Board was June 17, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. If you received a “Notice of Appraised Value, Classification, and Assessed Value” with the ASSESSMENT TYPE – FORCED, the assessment was forced due to the failure of the taxpayer to file a Tax Schedule “B” with our office on or before March 1, 2022. Deadline to file an appeal to the independent MBOE has passed.

We are no longer accepting appointments for appeals to the Independent Metropolitan Board of Equalization. The deadline to file an appeal was 4:00 p.m., on Friday, June 17, 2022. If you seek to reschedule or cancel an appeal that has already been scheduled, please call (615) 862-6080. If you missed the deadline and require additional appeal info, please contact the State Board of Equalization at 615-401-7883.
