Nashville, TN (June 27, 2025) – The Assessor of Property Vivian Wilhoite and Staff want to remind property owners that today is the deadline to appeal your new 2025 Reappraisal values or classification to the independent Metropolitan Board of Equalization (MBOE) or its Hearing Officers.

Assessor of Property Vivian Wilhoite says, “If you disagree with your new 2025 Reappraisal value or classification or if you filed an Informal Review request and disagree with the decision, you can still appeal to the independent MBOE or its Hearing Officers. It is your right to appeal.” Unless you appeal in a timely fashion, the last written notice of value or classification provided to you may become your final assessment, and this assessment will be effective as of January 1, 2025.
