Office of the Assessor of Property Will Remain Close Wednesday, January 28, 2026

Office Staff Will Respond to Voicemails/Emails During Closure.

Nashville, TN (January 27, 2026) Due to the continuous inclement weather conditions, with many who are still without power, the Office of the Assessor of Property will remain closed on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. This decision is being made in the interest of public safety, and in the interest of employees’ safety for those who have sought shelter who are still without power.

While the office is closed, our amazing staff will work, committed to serving Davidson County property owners and the community at-large. Messages left on our main office line at 615-862-6080, emails sent to assessorweb@nashville.gov, and voicemails or emails sent directly to staff members will be monitored, and responses will be provided expeditiously.

As previously communicated to the public, the Informal Review Request period is currently open. This is the first opportunity to appeal your property value or classification. The best method to submit an Informal Review Request is online at www.padctn.org. The online process is user-friendly and available 24/7. Property owners who need assistance may leave a voicemail at 615-862-6080 or email assessorweb@nashville.gov, and staff will respond.

We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as we continue to take necessary precautions to protect both our community and our staff during this inclement weather event.
